Steel targets/re-set style

Might be the best $50 I ever spent. I've put hundreds of rounds on this thing with no signs of bending. Just spray it orange and you're set. My only complaint is the nuts work there way lose after a while. They don't always wait for you to hit all four before resetting, but that's probably just an issue with mine.

I was out monday plinking and we had something pretty much exactly like that. Lots of fun to shoot

I tried these.....Not steel but they work quite well.

So far I have tried the 6 inch hang-tuffs and a couple of L-seriers targets. I have shot them with thousands of 22LR rounds and there are still holding up quite well. Easy enough to just get them shipped to your door as they ship by USPS.

I am planning to get a few more to set up a plate rack. Tones of fun. Rarely use paper after setting these up on the range. Quite safe touse as well.

I hear you, ranges don`t allow steel so unless you have your own spot to shoot these are out. Too bad I think they would be the way to go for fun and cheap targets.

My range has no problem with them. It would likely vary from range to range. I love shooting my Birchwood Casey gallery @ 100 yrds. Works well.

Have just tried two new Birchwood Casey Gallery sets out for .22 handgun , and haven't found the best combo of range and ammo to work right. Hit it too soft , and it doesn't swing up onto the bar.
Hit it too hard and it swings with enough force to blow the bar out of the way . Will be trying a coupleof additional wieghts on the reset bar , maybe more mass is the answer. Or some other detent of some sort

I've got a set and found them getting boring real quick.
Fifty yard shot shell husks are more fun.
Or sticking FTF 22 ammo in a stump and shooting them off.
A wee bit more challenging.
The spinners I think I'll save for the young ones, if and when
they ever come about.

I have the re-settable one in the original posters link, Have shot 1000's of rounds at it, no deformation in the metal. The only thing I noticed would be that after a while, the legs would "walk" themselves upwards not allowing the targets to reset. Gets a little challenging to hit them past 75 yrds. Their still a lot of fun for the money, just buy it, you won't regret it.

I've bought both the metal spinner and resetting silhouette from Princess Auto. Spinner works pretty good at 25 yards, the resetting silhouette, not so much. A review of a similar one didn't get that good of reviews, and I found myself, that the targets kept flipping off.

I have been looking at the Duraseal Targets, and didn't realize Canadian Tire even sold one, until another poster in this thread posted a link. Too bad they don't sell the single one yet:

I have a Blast Back 17/22 resetting target. . 22 won't knock the plates down and 17 blows holes in them. Not real happy with it to say the least.
