Steiner Police binos 7x50

This just in...Steiner Police 7x50:

I tried them out today...so far they are clear and sharp but i wonder if 7x is enough magnification? They should be enough for my floor seats at the UFC event later this month and i am anxious to see how they will do in the low light of an arena. I was also planning to get the military version with the reticle and i will probably go with 10x on those.

Obviously it looks better in real life than this...it was hard to snap a good pic with my digicam (too lazy to get the tripod out)...but it should give an idea.

Nice glass. I have had a set of those for about 25 yrs and have never felt the need to upgrade. Low light performance is frickin awesome as is the depth of field and durability. Set the focus and everything from 15 ft to infinity should be in focus. Dropped mine while white water rafting and recovered them at the end of the rapids none the worse for wear. Thankfully I had a flotation strap on them.

Great choice in optics.
