That wouldn't be very difficult to fab up, assuming the RCMP would allow it to be registered.

For whatever reason, they are getting more and more difficult about registering "home-built" firearms. Stupid really, since the alternative is that they would not be registered at all.

Czechitout should be thanked for posting these photos on behalf of the maker, who is banned from CGN.
The replica of the Mk. I* gun looks good. If you are interested in buying it, you will have to wait. It is not currently registered, and the maker anticipates that it will be at least three months before there is any chance of paperwork comng through.
If you are interested in buying one of these reproductions, a pm to czechitiout would be just as fast as contacting the maker through his website.

The video pretty much confirms what most of us were concerned about.

Using the original diameter body tube is pretty much a recepie for a drop in option.

Mind you, we suggested that as a potential problem months ago (or was it a year now?) and were poo-pooed as being nay sayers.

*shrug*

If the RCMP ask for my SAS Sten MK II for inspection, I'd be delighted to send it in to them. Maybe they can get it functioning more reliable for me! LOL

NS

The Stens and the Suomi made by this individual were classified as prohibited when finally inspected.
He has been able to obtain a FRT number (129614-1) for a redesigned version which is a bit harder to convert to full auto.
Have any guns actually been registered using this new FRT number?

LOL... I'd like to see them make that mode to one of the designs where the end-cap is welded on. ;)

Err... oh wait, that's impossible since the bolt could then not be swapped... duh!

I do wish we could play full-auto though.

It's SOOO STUPID. If you can build a semi-sten, you could even more easily build a full-auto one. The semi guns are way harder to make!!!

Stupid laws.

I have been told all the ######## guns have original diameter tubes and full auto bolts.
