I'm looking at a Stevens 110e bolt action in 30-06 and was wondering if anyone has reviews on them? It has a blind mag which I'm not too fond of but it isn't a deal breaker if it functions well.
I have experience with savage 111 which uses the same action (pre accutrigger) and is from my understanding pretty much the same as the steven 110. It was an adequate rifle. It worked was accurate. There wasn't really anything standing out good or bad.
No it isn't some cheap diamond in rough, but neither is it a waste of metal. It is a boring unassuming functional rifle.
Decent guns. Sometimes the triggers can be exceptionally heavy. I had 2 of these of the years. One had a 6 lb trigger, the second one was 8lbs. Accurate as any stock savage out of the box.
