Sighted in my Stevens 200 270win with Chizzy on Friday.

100 yards, 150 grain Winchester Super X a 1inch group with 2 touching. :)

Winchester XP3 150 grain around 1.5 inches.

The Remmy A frames not so hot about 2 inches.

For a $350 rifle, I am happy.

Come on Moose season!!!!

I know the 270win is nowhere near big enuff.

As has been said many many times on this forum. Those Stevens 200s are probably the best shooting sub $400 ( new ) guns out there.

I love my .223 and I may be buying a .308 or .243 for the boy ( if they come in .243 that is )

Don't worry about the .270. Your friends won't make the moose any deader with their uber magnums than you will with your .270.

I just love watching fellows miss the broad side of a barn with their big guns then some old fellow with a .308 or .270 comes in and put on a shooting clinic.

Cheers and good luck on that moose

They sure do, my wife has one & it shoots UNDER an inch @ 100 with Remington Core Lokt 100 grain softpoints. Combined with a Bushnell 3200 Elite 3-9x40 scope, the Stevens 200 is a real value!

Cheers
Jay
