Stevens 200 in 44 mag

Rim is a bit narrow for the magnum bolt face. It will go bang and as a single feed, no problem

It will be as accurate as the cartridge and bullet allow.

If you want accuracy with cast bullets, there are better ways.

If you want a mag fed bolt rifle, get the Ruger and save yourself a world of grief.

Pretty much sums it up.

I have looked into all the options for a pistol calibre bolt action and the only cost effective option is Ruger 77/44 or 77/357.

The rotary mag setup is the biggest reason, as the magazine and getting it to function is no easy task on a conversion.

You could try opening up a standard 308 bolt face and modifying the extractor to work. If you wanted a repeater I'm sure you could make something work, could be quite a bit of machining involved.
