I recently purchased a Stevens 200 chambered in 7mm Rem. Mag. I've been able to find which Weaver bases I should use if I want 2 piece (46M), but I'd prefer a 1 piece base (Weaver/Picatinny style). Any recommendations?

Does this model use the same mounts as the Savage Accutrigger in long-action models?

Thanks!

Hmm... EGW does make a mount for the Savage long-action! I only saw the short-action model at Brownell's.

Thanks!

yeah i got one for my stevens LA direct from EGW 25 MOA one piece base.
excellent company to deal with especialy considering its an american company

Thanks guys!

Ok...next question: I'll be using this mostly as a hunting rifle. Most shots would be ~300 yards or less. However, I occasionally like to try long distance target shooting. Would it be best to get the tapered base (20MOA)? Or do I stick with the 0 MOA mount?

I am sure that you already know this, but the Stevens 200 is a Savage 110 Action. Maybe check again with that in mind. Many more vendors may present themselves.

Just a thought, Hakx

Receiver

Hey Sean18mb, does the Stevens 200 have the flat back or the round back receiver? I would assume it's the round back, didn't Savage switch it up back in 2003? I'm going to buy the g/f one in .223 and want to order a one piece from EGW and want to make sure I get the right base.

Thanks
