Stevens 200 mag conversion ?

So I posted this in the hunting firearms page as well because when I searched I didn't find anything. Who here has used one of the sharpshooter supply dbm kits on a savage with a blind mag to turn it into a detachable magazine and how's it work

I did a DBM conversion of a Savage 110 chambered in .308 Win.. The Savage 110 was later rebranded by Savage as the Stevens 200.

The conversion kit I used was mfgr by CDI, sourced thru Mystic Precision (one of the site sponsors)

The conversion requires serious stock work to install. It uses AICS magazines or the metal Ruger scout magazines.

OK cool .the one I am looking at uses the actual savage magazine and such plus they list it as 85 bucks

CDI makes bottom metal that take AI mags . Jerry at Mystic Precision sells them.

Yes I've seen those but it's a tad much for me at almost the cost of the rifle was new lol

I was able to find someone selling stock savage DBM on the EE. It for fine. As long as you check the hole spacing. Keep your eyes open and you might find something.
