I vote for the stevens as well... The stock is ugly out of the box, but I've seen a few painted with Krylon that actually end up looking really good.

Those Husky's are supposed to be very very good shooters. They are light too but they get the crack at the tang often.

Still say Marlin XL7 is the way to go.

I always think that's a good reason to try something else, although those Marlins seem to be a very good rifle of this sort. There is nothing that suits everyone equally - people are too diverse for that.

Exacly, I really like the look of the marlin, jus didn't feel right



What are the stevens 200's like in the 7mm Mag, i'v read that the barrel on a 7mm should be longer than normal, but they seam pretty average, anyone have one in the 7mm
