The pictures tell a different story, seams its his mothers rifle and he is acting out on the internet in a jealous rage, she painted her rifle and he is having problems getting the crayons to stick to the plastic airsoft guns are made from......
 
As I see it, the saving grace is that it belongs to someone else and not me. Watching an episode of Big Bang Theory the other night where the guys had obtained a 'time machine', the girl Penny made a very fitting comment. She said the time machine looked like something Elton John might drive in the everglades. A wild guess, but that looks like a rifle he might be interested in.

But no worrys i don't really care. and for another 12 dollars i can change it again or buy a boyds stock also.

i achieved what i wanted. a more weather resistent cheap "bring a smile to the face rifle" and mainly accurate.

you need to handle it to understand what i like about it.

Most folks in this thread couldnt understand the concept of making a gun stain proof, let alone figure out how to pop the can off a spray can. And if they got THAT far...theyd be too much of a pussy to spray said gun.

I don't think the concept of making a gun stain proof is the focus of controversy, but rather the choice of colours and their combination.

I actually understand your concept believe it or not... But in order for it to work you have to intermingle the two colors in "swatches" not havbe the barrel and action in one colour and the stock in another...

Also, you started the ball rolling by making fun of your own rifle from post one...

I'm deviating from the topic at hand and not trying to hijack the thread but concerning the choice of colours as shown, something else comes to mind. Although never quite as good at playing pool as I thought I was, specifically snooker, there was something that helped me win on more than a few occassions. A friend I played with on numerous occasions was colour blind and had difficulty distinguishing between the red, brown and green.

your "friend sees about the same as a deer so therefore my rifle is camoed to a deer not people which makes it ultimate camoflage.. you can find it but deer cant :)

btw the flash took away much of the black webbing spary which makes it look more like red and green HAHA just thought it only needs some silver duct tape and it is complete and ready for the red green show :)

So am I to understand that this paint job is a serious effort toward something, and you don't post it for the purpose of public jest?

In that case, it looks great, hope you had fun doing it.

(My dad beat manners into me and one of them was to not pick on "blessed kids". And I see blessing all over this one).
