Stevens 200's - Optics?

Mines a 22-250 with a bushnell banner 6-18X50mm but you wouldn't be interested in that one.

I'm buying a .308 in the near future and plan to top it with theirr 3-9X. The other banner I have seems really well built for such a low price. I am totally happy with their optics.

If your 7mm is anything like my 22-250 you'll love the accuracy you'll get. I was knocking down gophers all the way out to 300m last week. I truly have no compliants about this setup.

Sure, I would... but I structured this thread geared toward 'larger game' calibers. I figured the .223's and .22-250's would be geared toward 'varminting' and the optics might reflect that application.

The one I'm getting is in 7mm-08. Though, it would be interesting to see what other 7mm08, .308, .270 and .30-06 [and even 7mm Mag & .300 Win Mag] users were putting up for optics & mounts.

I know! But, of course, my .223 is a varmint rifle and I have a Tasco Target/Varmint 10-40x50 on it. I certainly wouldn't put a Tasco scope on anything bigger. NAA, I don't think you can go wrong with a Bushnell 3200. On the other hand I just got a Leup VXIII from todbartell and I am amazed at the clarity. WOW!

Hey, that's fun... :D

The old adage that the glass should cost as much as the rifle puts you in a different class all together with the Stevens. :D

Maybe a 3200?

I have a Stevens in 25-06 and I used Leupold rings and bases and a 3200 4-12. Killed my first and 2nd deer ever with it this year, Nosler partition 115 grain. FS

Comming up next the true meaning behind the whiskey nosed Indian guy...

LMFAO! Great. Thanks, guys! Now I've got Blackthorn cider dripping down my monitor and out of my nose. It tingles... :D

Econo Rifle / Econo Scope.

So, votes all in, I decided to go with spare scope that I already had. Put on a Tasco Varmint 2.5-10x42mmAO mil-dot scope. We'll see how that works out for now.

Thanks for all the suggestions... ;) :D
