Just did a little trading today and acquired one. Tomorrow for pictures, promise.
What's the scoop on these? Run of the mill or sought after or somewhere in between?
They're a little heavy and because of the funny profile on the rimfire groves you might have trouble putting optics on it. There's quite a hump between the grooves. Pretty good shooter as is.
Supposedly the older models with the "button" barrel selector are a weak link.
The older ones with the button select in nice shape seem to draw decent money. Watch out the button does not fall off & also sights can be loose and easily knocked out of whack or lost as well.
Great guns all of them.
Cheers

I shot one a few times at the range, decent gun. I personally wouldn't buy one since I already have a 410 shotgun that I aquired for rice and beans. IMO the 22/410 is a nicely weighted gun or I thought.
I should add that I have the new version, the Model 42, which is kind of cheesy looking (plastic stock), but is quite light and shoots good. I much prefer the look of the 24 though, with wood stock.
