Hello all
I have recently inherited my great grandfathers Stevens sxs shotgun and would like to restore it to a better than current condition.
Ideally I wanted to rust blue the barrels but I have gotten mixed reviews on whether the barrel solder can take temperatures that high. Being it would only get to 100 C (212F) when boiling would this really be an issue?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
