Hi
Anybody have any expierence with this rifle for reliability of firing, tigger quality and accuracy and if they have a scope on it. Thinking about one but can not find much info. Any info would be great.

I had one. 13" barrel.
loud, mags were good metal, typical savage mags (think .17)
I would have a misfire if I wasn't really rough locking the bolt down.
Trigger was smooth but very heavy.
the rifle was barrel heavy, sights were thick, shot very high I would have preferred a small mount with a red dot.

accuracy wise was tough to tell, I only ran 1 box through before I sold it.

just wasn't for me, wasn't a bad gun.

If they ever made this in .17 HMR...I'd have a real dilemma. :)

A buddy of mine has one in .22lr, and even they're loud when there isn't much barrel. Even CB longs have a little pop out of a barrel that length, compared to a full length barrel. The sound of the bullet hitting the soup can makes more noise than the report of the round going off!

Killed many skunks and one fox with mine.
No misfeeds or misfires
Fairly accurate, can't really put number on it though... Maybe, an inch at 50yrds with the red dot? Good enough for what I use it for. Shoots the grey box winchester well, which is good cause I had a few hundred rounds of the stuff.
Trigger seems ok for a hunting rifle.
M1 Carbine sling fits well
