I managed to find one of these from a retailer NIB. Man what a fun rifle! So light, compact, and handy, and still has the 22wmr punch to it!

I had read all of the threads I could find on them before, and people had mentioned needing to replace the sights as it shoots high.Sure enough it shot high, but I simply removed the elevation ladder from the rear sight and it shoots perfect now.

I shot it from about 15 or 20m kneeling and it was getting some good groups as well.

At 120m the group was large, but it was difficult with me and my crappy right eye to shoot the irons well at that distance. If I put a scope on it it will definitely be much better. I might do that just to see what she is capable of.

I am really looking forward to going gopher hunting with it in the coming weeks!

Just bought a used 22Lr version myself. going to try to stick it in a Boyds evolution stock and put a vortex crossfire red dot or a bushnell 3-9x scope on it.

My young fella shoots one, his first rifle, and 12g hulls at 50 yards come pretty easy for him with it. Young eyes ! We put his in a Boyd's stock, looks pretty sharp. The 5 round mags are certainly less than stellar. Set a loaded one down on the bench too " vigorously " and they self empty ! Hard to beat for the price.

I use one in .22lr on my trap line. Great compact rifle for trapping!

I had fun with me 305F build. The wee beasty shot into 1" at 80 yds with CCI ammo.
