stevens 325c bolt/savage 340/830

They made several different variants.I'd call Irv at Western Gun Parts in Edmonton as he'll know for sure...........Harold

I would also like to know , I traded for a Stevens 325c awhile back and tried it out about a month after the trade, marked the primer, but didn't fire the round. After inspecting the bolt a little more, it look like it has been welded-up around the middle. I collect Stevens so will hold on to it, but would be nice to hear it fire.....safely.
Mine is also in 30-30.

isn't there a threaded portion on the firing pin, that you can alter the length???

after some research, i have found that the Stevens 325/325a/325b/325c and the early Savage 340's are all the same part no. and interchangeable.
I am having a hard time finding one for my 30-30 though, WGP and Numrich don't have any...
