so need some info from the shotgun crowd , had these given to me in rough shape the 16ga model 190 is rusted on the outside of barrel but is cool as its a bolt / mag / muzzel breaked / adjustable choke, do i clean with emerycloth and use? or what dont think the value is high and what does it shoot cause the shell it came with is funny looking.
then there is the stevens .410 bolt are the shell's slugs ?,
sorry for the questions im a rifle guy but getting interested in this shotgun stuff

the stock on the .410 looks like its had some mold or dampness at one time, could i use any oil like clp or do i need a danish wood oil

The shells could be slugs as there are 410 slugs. They could also be shot its hard to say with out pictures. For the in rough shape if you clean it and inspect it should be ok to shoot but you have to be careful as the age of the firarm could make it a black powder only gun. If its not that old it might only be able to shoot lead shot if the depending on what choke is installed. So it really depends

the 410 cleaned up good took me forever to get the 50 yr old crap out of it , stock is awful going to maybe sand it , oil it or varnish tommorows project . the 16ga the blueing on the barrel is done and it does have pitting, dont know what to do there, not worth sending to gunsmith to reblue, get to go shell shopping on the weekend!!

used a blueing cold gel and wow that works fast! wipe it on and its black, dont know how long it will last. sanded the stocks stained and used tung oil went too dark but looks nice, might try the blue gel on the bolt

The Mossberg is an inexpensive, but reliable shotgun. 16 ga is my favorite gauge. I had one that I used for grouse for ages. It wasn't worth a lot, but it had sentimental value. In a moment of weakness I sold it. Was cleaning out the gun room the other day and came across two brand new factory mags for it I had ordered from Numrich. You can have them for what I have in them.
