Anyone own one of these OU?
Any comments/feedback.

I know it's not a Beretta/Browning....but its not their price range either

Thanks for the help

I bought one in 12 gauge for trap shooting but I did not like it at all and sold it.

The gun was just to light and the drop at comb was to little and this gun just didn't fit me well and kept slapping me in the cheek every time I shot the darn thing.

Funny thing is that I also have a 555 in 28 gauge and I love that gun, shoots great and fits great.

I have three in 12g, 20g and 28g. I love them. I bought the standard extractor models so no problems with ejectors breaking.
I use these guns for training gundogs, shooting in wet conditions and riding in the UTV where they will get muddy and I don't want to use my $7000 Caesar Guerini's and Rizzini's.
The 555's fit and feel just like my Italian alloy guns, you can carry them all day hunting and they have been very reliable for me.
The machined finish on the metal has no hand work, edges are sharp but it is what you would expect for the price.
I did upgrade the recoil pad on the 12g to a kickeeze and it really improved the recoil.
I would not get one for clay sports but for lower volume shooting and field work they are excellent.
I don't expect these to be heirloom gun's but they do the job very well at a good price.

They are entry level guns so that’s the quality you get they are built for the budget minded and are prone to fail utility grade . They have a market place which is fine not everyone wants to spend 3000$-5000$ on a gun .

I would consider Huglu, still not a Browning or Beretta, but more options, and Prophet River has great customer service, if there is an issue.

I have one in 12 gauge. It hasn't been used extensively as I have a number of guns to choose from, but so far no complaints. It is a nice gun for carrying. As mentioned, I would not be looking at one if high volume shooting was you goal.

I have a 20G 555 Silver. Has ejectors rather than extractors. I have taken many, many grouse with it and it's always performed well. Between the handiness, light weight, overall quality, fit and finish, and 26" length, there is for me no finer O/U for the price to carry in the grouse woods.
