I just added a 3rd switch barrel to my Stevens English Rifle. These 044 1/2 are a slimmed version of the 44 1/2. I relined the original barrel in 22 LR. Last year I added a 22 Mag barrel. Now I added a 17 hmr barrel. The barrel started as a take off barrel from a Savage. I also ordered a MVA B5 scope to use on it. I think this will be a great rig for gophers. This 120 year old rifle has lots of life yet.

That is just beautiful. I would be so proud to call it mine, that's for sure. Over here in UK we are having immense problems with US-base manufacturers and suppliers, with many refusing to ship anything here at all, let alone an MVA B5 scope for my High Wall. :(

Deeply envious of your foresight - is that an MVA unit?
 
Thanks, I am not sure who made the front sight, I bought it at auction. I have a new MVA sight as well but it is a bit different. MVA has been awsome and can send to Canada without any problem. Hopefully I will have the B5 scope in about a month.
 
Thanks, I have forends on all three barrels. I chopped this one out of a piece of scrap this week, turned out much nicer than I expected.
 
I don't understand it quite completely?
I have two Ithaca Stakeouts and a Colt 1991A1 amongst others.
But lately I have this thing for ten gauge older shotguns and single shot 22 rifles ??

not sure how to explain it......

Should I change my name to Hatfield or McCoy ?? Lol
