Stevens Model 200

I've only owned one, in 22-250, but based on the fact that this rifle will shoot bottle caps at 100 yards with cheap white box ammo, I'm sure I'll end up with more over time. They are a VERY good starter rifle and from what I gather, will outshoot most of their owners.

I've got a home bedded .243 in Stevens 200 which shoots 5 rounds at about 3/4" at 100 with Varget 70 gr Noslers and 75 gr. V-Max's. When the barrel gets super hot I only find that the grouping will open up to about 1.5" after 10 shots on consistent shooting. If you simply do 5 shots, let it rest and cool, and go back I haven't seen any accuracy problems.
