stevens model 219

i am looking at maybe getting a stevens model 219 in 22 hornet and 16 gauge interchangeable barrels.....i have not seen it yet and i am awaiting pictures...
are these rifles any good???....the asking price is 250.00.....is that reasonable...the break action from what i have seen on the net looks very simmilar to a nef type of action....are these actions strong enough to fire max loads???
any information would be helpfull.........Dan...........

The ones I have seen are pretty well made.
One was in 30/30 and thhe other in Hornet.
I wouldn't worry abbout max loads from a Hornet or a 30/30.
