Stevens Model 350/Chinese Ithaca clone

I see Armco has got the Stevens Model 350 available for sale. Looks like the Chinese have finally cloned a nice ghost ring as well!
These are selling for around $250 south of the border and also come with a 2 barrel option that includes a long vent rib barrel and shorter non vented bead only barrel.

Handled a used one the other day. Seems to be a well built gun for the money. I liked it. They use a dual action arm set up unlike the original Ithaca. The ghost rings were pretty nice as well. I didn't get to shoot it but it looks like you'd get a good bang for your buck.

I'd like to see someone import a bunch of those sights sets! If they function well I'd buy a few sets.....

All I can say about mine is that it goes bang when I squeeze the trigger and the shot goes where I aim it. After a quite a few boxes down the pipe and I have no complaints.

How does the 350 compare to others in terms of recoil? I tried an 870 and a Stevens security side-by-side recently, and the 350 seemed to have a grittier pump and heavier recoil. My imagination?

I've never met a made in China gun that couldn't use a little de-tuning of sharp edges......same goes for the Rossi 92's.

The 350 I handled a while back was a great gun for the price and if I was in the market for a cheap ,shorter pump with ghost rings I'd be all over it!
