Picked up this model 240 just recently for a song. Removed the rust and blued the metal, but would like to polish the tenite stock. Not sure how. I thought of some left over headlamp cleaner. would this be wise?

I'd leave the stocks alone. I had one of those years ago. It shot the 2 1/2 inch slugs into 1 hole at 25 yards. Enjoy it.

The tenite stocks were junk, thats why they went back to wood stocks.

They scratch easy and have a cheap feeling, I picked up one with the tenite and ended up replacing the tenite with wood again just to get the feel right again.
