I have a Stevens Savage 58-20, 20 gauge shotgun and I was curious about modifying the magazine to hold more shells.

It currently holds 2 in the magazine and one in the pipe.

I have been getting some mixed messages about what I can do and still hunt legally (I don't hunt Migratory birds, Rabbits only)

Does anyone have links to the regulations regarding this?

By the way I did search and came up with nothing...
 
I checked but I came up with nothing about shotguns, Except for hunting water foul with non-toxic shot and the shot size itself.

My gun is bolt action if that makes any difference at all.
 
Action shouldn't make a difference, who cares how it shoots.....
I know in Ontario you can just call the MNR and ask, i've wastes lots of their time with newbie questions. NO reason why there shouldn't be the same type of service in NS
