I didnt mention the vanguard and savage vs remington brand for a reason.

I wanted to keep it objective and limited to the 2 specific models.

I figured actual gun owners and real life experience would prove which one is the right rifle for a new hunter/shooter coming into the sport. You will also note I didnt mention calibre vs calibre either.

This is a specific poll/survey for these two particular models of rifles.

One thing you have to give to the 710 though,it sure made for some pretty funny 710 bashing threads.

Red, the only thing more fun than the 710 bashing threads is watching your buddy trying to pry his 710 bolt open by pushing a screw driver between the rear of the bolt and the receiver

i almost died laughing and the best part was i knew he couldnt shoot me for it
