can anyone tell me,if savage bases fit on a stevens bolt action rifle, just waiting for my 223,or which ones do,and im hopeing its not just weaver who make them....thanks

A Stevens 200 is nothing more than a blind magazine Savage, with rougher finishing in a cheaper synthetic stock, and no Accutrigger option. Barring something funny being done, the scope mounts should be the same as well.

The Stevens does not take the same bases as the original Savage 110. The new receiver is the same contour front and rear, whereas the original Savage was round on the front receiver ring and somewhat flattened on the rear bridge. Timberpig has it right, the same receiver as the current model that has the Accutrigger.

You need the same bases front and rear on the Stevens, Weaver number is 46.
