Steyr AUG A3 Legal?

Yes original AUG is an amazing Bullpup firearm, but the A3 is just pure ### (can I say that? lol) in my opinion.

Thanks,

It has got to be one of the all time most goofyist looking guns of all time!

I would still shoot it though.

The A3 modernized the old AUG quite a bit... Maybe the side rails are overkill but I am still a fan.

The ease of use of the A3 is astonishing, not to mention how easy it is to take apart, even change barrels (can be done in mere seconds). Let us not forget also you can shoot this thing pretty good one handed (why you would IDK but still cool that it has true 50/50 balancing). I also love the quick reload method of the AUG :p

Dark I don't think the gun is goofy I think it is pure art :)

Grumble, grumble, damn you Gov't for banning this firearm!!

Thanks,
- Koshy

THe architecture of the AUG is too limiting - the A3 is getting too heavy. You cannot make things work just by piling up more metal on it.

Greentips.........I have been on your sight for years, i have seen you complaining about firearms and there weight for years also, are you by chance featured on "Little People, BIG world" :p :p :p

Rabbits, especially rabbit OPERATORS, are very concerned with the weight of a firearm.

It is bullpup, with long 1913 rails... and the ability to quickly and easily switch out barrels based on what you need. I don't see how that is limiting O,o Also it has stayed within the overall size of the original AUG, and the only real changes I have seen with it that involves "more metal" is the 1913 rails, which I think are pretty important and standard in todays world.. but thats just in my opinion.

Those poor rabbits, they are like the minority now, no one conciders them anymore!

I only shoot my guns one handed. When I'm at the range in my urban camo fatigues and bandoliers I like to roll forward on the ground up to the firing line and blast at two targets at once. Sometimes I even do it with my bandana over my eyes. Train the way you fight, you know... I think it's cooler to do the retro one handed commando roll with my guns than the passe one handed matrix side flip with my trench coat on (so 1998). Besides, when I hold the guns one handed it really shows off my ripped biceps when wearing my jean jacket with cut off sleeves :ninja:
