Had a black Aug with custom scope rails and both the reg and sniper barrels in the early 90s. Was an awesome gun.
Also had a Norinco Ak-47 with a 100 roung drum mag which I walked into the sporting goods store and bought for $500. Had a lot of fun back then and coming from that kind of freedom, the incoming prohibition seemed so damned Draconian, still does.

Since the RCMP took over the firearms stuff again, we're seeing more arbitrary decisions and the beginning of laws by regulation. Just like the ATF. Harper hasn't put a stop to it either. Mind you, considering both socialist Parties and the Traitors have said they would vote against any changes to the FA, he isn't going to cause his government to fall over firearms.
