Steyr L9A1 Review and Range Report

After having red dot sights on Beretta 92 Inox...I'll be staying away from these. I simply couldn't pick up any target, except for perfect light conditions.
Hopefully there are some after market sights available. Thanks for the review. Steyr did too little, too late in my opinion. It's shame, because it was a great pistol back in the days. Now it doesn't really offer anything above many, other, better supported platforms.

just read a review from Combat Handguns November 2013 (yep, about 2 months ahead)...decent review. Just ordered some 10rd mags from down south.

Update,...got a very clean and nice holster from LHS Canada,...seems to be very well made and the cool factor for this type of gun is there for sure. This holster is the pancake flat type holster. Looks like it would be great for IDPA or decent for IPSC. The bottom is open, and I assume would fit the M9A1 as well.

update. got the b&t stainless guide rod. better weight to it than the cheapo plastic one.

one thing I noticed was the LHS holster contacted the extractor when it was loaded, pushing the slide back a little. I just trimmed about 1mm if material off and it is right as rain.

Fire a picture my way Mo and we'll see about addressing that area.
