Steyr M40 question

Hey CGN, I've been looking for a holster for my recently bought M40. I have found a lot of M9 holsters, research I've done says the M40 will fit. Sort of like Glock holsters can fit 17 and 22. But just wanting to know if anyone has any first hand experience to confirm this?

My understand is that the Styer "M" was made as a .40S&W first. I'd feel confident that the a holster for the 9x19 version will also fit the .40S&W version; there should not be a difference in slide/frame dimensions.

The Steyr M9 and M40 have the exact same external dimensions. They can share holsters.
