Guns n games in ab has one they also have a cz duty which is an outstanding polymer. You can call them 403 742 0673

SFRC sells the m40 - maybe they could order you in the 9mm version.. I've handled the 40 caliber version and it's quite nice - so nice that I have one landing once the wonderfully efficient folks at the CPFO decide to approve the transfer...

I find the grip geometry nice, along with the fit, which seems to be superior in sizing to the Glock when used by the "smaller handed" shooter - aka me...

I have the M40A1 and i really like it. It's like plinking .22s!
Accurate as well once you get used to the triad sights.
This thing was designed by an ex-Glock Engineer that would like to see the future in glocks.
Unfortunately he was turned down. Good thing 'cuz now he let Steyr produce it.
Get one!

I had the 9mm version and hated it (and i wanted to like it). As soon as MP9 came out i sold the Styer and got one. Later I got a couple Glocks and like them better. also have another MP9 on the way.

I had one in 9mm, I liked it but had the habit of riding the slidestop. I couldn't break the habit so I sold it to a friend. He shoots it and loves it. I had no issues with it other then that, it was a solid gun and ran very well.

Where can you get a duty holster for the m9? I was put off buying one because I could not find a holster for one. Preferably a Level II duty holster for a left hander.

I always used Uncle Mikes in the past but last time I checked they did not make one for the Steyr.

Yeah they are tough to find! I've been looking for a while now too.

I've had my M9-A1 for a month now. Love it! Good looking gun and shoots extremely well. I don't have very big hands so the ergonomic grip feels very comfortable. So far I've put in 200 rounds down the barrel with different 9mm ammo brands. No issues.

The trapezoid sights are amazing. You get used to it pretty fast! Field stripping is a breeze. I think this gun is the easiest pistol to field strip.

Got mine from Wanstalls for a little over $600. Gary from Wanstalls is such a pleasure to deal with. Answers emails FAST. He said I would get my gun in 4-5 days...and I DID! (I picked it up personally, didn't have to wait for shipping)

So YES I would recommend the M9-A1 for anyone looking for a polymer pistol.

I'm looking for a concealment style holster for an M40 - probably going to be an eBay search for that one... I have seen some duty holsters for them on Copsplus website...

Steyr Holster's

Blade tech is your friend..they make a couple that are real good...I have one, kinda a high ride ..well made

I contacted this company in the States- Side Guard Holsters. Well priced and nice looking holsters. Their lead time right now to custom make one for the Steyr is 7-9 weeks. Yeah I know it's a long time but maybe it's worth the wait. check it out!

I checked out their site. So far I have not seen a holster there for the Steyr M9A1. The weapons drop-down menus for the holsters doesn't include the Steyr unfortunately. Correct me if I'm wrong- check the website and see for yourself.

Anyway I sent them a quick email to see if they can custom one for the Steyr. I'll update you guys when I hear back from them:)

I'm shopping around for a holster as well... although I think I may go for a Comp-Tac. The M1A isn't listed as one of their fitments, but they'll make it happen for an additional $10.

Then again, if the tax return I'm expecting doesn't arrive soon, I might just get one from Grandfather Oak.
