Just bought a steyr mannlicher l-a1 this afternoon, going to call in for the transfer on Monday. To be honest I was looking at SW M&P9 at first but for some reason i got sold with this L-A1. Haven't shoot it before, I don't know how it perform but love the look of it. :)

Steyr is head and shoulders over the M&P....over Glock....and I would even stretch it as to say that Steyr is neck and neck with H&K when it comes to build quality of a polymer pistol. Yes...they had a couple of quirks with ejection in past generations, and yes they are a royal pain in the butt to find accessories for, but they are one hell of a good firearm. I for one really like the brand.

+1 they know what they are doing.
The L-a1 is growing on me! I might get one!

I'm a big fan of mine, it shoots like a laser: Straight as can be and nearly no recoil. The trigger is fantastic and the ergonomics cannot be beat. Give the inside of the magazines a quick wipe down and your break-in period should be short.

Aww thanks for all the info. Hope the process can be faster for transfer then i will let you guys know hows this honey shoot like compare to my CZ 75 sp-01 Shadow.

Finally picked up this bang bang today afternoon and got a chance to fire up this evening. I have to say i love this gun but cz75 shadow is much easier to shoot but i really love my new purchase.

Totally agree that is pain in the butt to find accessories. As simple as holster no luck.
