I've got one but haven't shot it yet. Are you buying it from TradeEx like I did?

Yeah probably wont be using surplus either unless I somehow come across some.Another set of dies and when I make my order for molds a 8mm mold as well will be needed.Shooting is getting pretty pricey especially milsurp shooting so reloading is the only way I can see to be able to shoot and not become poor.
PS Militaria lists 8x56R Hungarian surplus for $15 for 20 rounds.
Would think it would also be steel case so either way reloading wouldn't be an option at least for me.
Morc may have to check into it but for now I'd just be getting new production ammo and reloading.
There's one in the Lee catalog #90775. I'm ordering stuff through Gunmart in Brockville Ontario.
Shooting cast bullets from these rifles can be a "hit or miss" affair. Bores are supposed to be .329 but apparently most are oversized. I've read the economical Lee mould C329 205 1R usually casts 329 or not much more. I lucked out with my carbine. It slugs .329 and my Lee mould casts .330-331. I opened up my push through Lee sizer to .331 and use standard Hornady 8mm gas checks then pan lube. I bought the Lee die set and nny brass from Tradex and have what is really an unlimited supply of plinking ammo at a very reasonable cost. I haven't had time to do a lot of load developement yet but have had fair success with 2400 powder. Best groups around an inch and a half at 50 yds.
I also have a good supply of jacketed 329 bullets that I bought off the equipment exchange but getting rifles to shoot cast well as always been my first love.

If I am right the 95/34 is a cut down version of the long rifle.
When I am shooting mine with army surplus rounds, people leave from beside me at the range.. 10 rounds down the pipe puts blue and black marks on my shoulder.

Same result as with friend Zdragunov: these things are monsters!
Another really good reason to talk to the guys at Trade-Ex and get some of that nice Partizan brass, then get a bullet mould, some gas-checks, a sizer (ream if necessary) and a big, Big, BIG can of Red Dot.
Ammo at a buck a pop is much less appealing than ammo which will shoot just as well at a dime....... and doesn't kick you into the middle of next month!
