Just thought I might update this thread regarding the scope.

I actually traded for a .223 LTR and put the "cheap knockoff" scope on it.

Been tracking and shooting dead accurate for over a year on it.

So as far as the life and accuracy of the scope, I give it a vote of confidence.

How are you shooting with your setup? Do you have any pictures of your targets at the distance you initially wanted to shoot at (300 y)? Do share!

It gets to be a sickness... I can assure you it won't stop at what scope to buy!

Couldn't have said it better... I remember when I was buying my first rifle earlier this year, I told myself: "Yeah, I'll go for that great deal on the Mark 4!", later on, I go: "Man, I could be stuck with this thing for a while - let's go with a Zeiss Diavari!"... Ended up with a Schmidt & Bender, basically doubling my initial budget for the scope I wanted to get

Was it worth it? Time will tell. I hope yours turns out to be a good deal!
