Steyr SSG08 ordered.

So you have you actually had any range time with the rifle yet? Curious on its accuracy.

The first 3 shots were one hole at 100 yards with the factory monopod. My range is only out to 300 yards but I can easily hit 4" steel plates with factory GMM 168gr.

I noticed using different lot # of Federal GGM ammo affected my zero... I'm running a bit low so I'm trying to save up to buy large quantity of the same lot # at a time.

I also ordered a small bag so I can get more stability.

1 holes ? 3 shots 3 holes ? lol Jk jk

Does Steyr now market SSGs to blogger girls who never shot a rifle at 300 meters or beyond?

Does it come in rabbit pink camo?

PS
Have nothing againts the rifle, dont get me wrong. But this beauty-blog style commercials are getting a bit odd now.

Styer do make a kick ass rifle, Can of spray paint doesn't cost much, in any Color.

Love my Styer ssg08, if I was shooting regular, I would keep it.

Lol it's their presentation style. You seem to have an awful lot of hatred towards steyr products.

Presentation style? Steyr's? Since when? I thought this was steyr "presentation style"

(which is awesome by the way. shows absolutely every detail you would like to see in a closeup without single spoke word by the way)

As for Steyr - SSG08 is not in my price range, but its cool, SSG 69 was, and I had it, and it was.... lacking.

Old post, but that video made me want that gun, haha.

I have a sneaking suspicion, without actually checking, that it's out of my price range though. :)

Only the stock for the styer ssg69 is lacking, the gun itself is solid, only if some manufacture come out with stock to fit that gun.

Only the stock for the styer ssg69 is lacking...

And bolt disassembly/assembly is a major pain.
And action is gritty
And barrel is heat pressed into action so re-barrel is out of the question
And bottom plastic and magazine are total sh*t, and Styria Arms cost me like $600

But other than that and the crude stock it is... nothing special heavy barrel bolt gun, yes sure )

I can deal with the disassembly and assembly of the bolt is quite over engineer, the action is one solid chunk of good steel, there a guy in ENgland rebarrel the old ssg69 action , re thread the action, these thing can be over come, but the main problem is the stock and magazine, but is can be over come,.

CHeck out mckillop engineering ltd on facebook. very nice work, I am sure there machinist in Canada Can do the jobs

Not to hijack the tread but could you tell us all what we are looking at exactly - though I already know quite well what it is ?

Did you machine it yourself ? Very interesting !
