Steyr Zephyr...Pics up.

Yeah, right, the current situation here isn't conducive to frivolous purchases. If I did buy it, I'd have to marry it!!!
Women are born every minute, Steyr quit producing the Zephyr in the early 70's.:p

If I were to spend big money on a 22 it would be this one

Well now, if'in that ain't a sig line, eye'll eat me cappella..........Thk

You found and purchased one, GR100? Well congrats and outstanding !! I was on a quest for many years for a Sako A IV Safari and found one a few months back, know the feeling. I'm now going to have that Safari restocked in a stunning piece of exhibition grade walnut and keep it forever, might even hunt it once or twice, but it will be a thing of beauty and functionality for all time when I'm done with it. It will rival the most expensive custom rifles in the world, and it will be mine forever.................

Yup, found it on this site from a reputable seller. Been so sick, I haven't had time to fondle and caress it.
BTW Douglas, you should've ended that paragraph with "Muhahahaha!"

Dang! Why didn't I think of that... Marry a gun! It would have to be a REALLY big bore though... Maybe an old 2 gauge "punt" gun (play on words intended)...

Sorry for the delay in posting the pics.
I don't often use the term "rare" as it seems to be overused, but this one was truly hard to find.
Rifle is in decent shape for late 60's, early 70's production. This example is the later production with the magazine release on the mag well instead of the left side of the stock. Deep rich bluing and wonderfully done walnut stock. Missing the rear 2 leaf Express sight, but I have a nice little Leupold that will fit the frame perfectly once I find the correct rings.
A few bumps and bruises, but what from the 60s/70s doesn't have any?
