STG-44 ammo choices

I generally run CCI minimags when dealing with a semi auto rimfire. Just wondering what other people use that might be a cheaper option than the $14 per 100 they are asking locally. Noticing that the FPS on the mini-mags isn't any faster than your standard .22LR that I can get off the shelf.

I've used bulk m22 in mine and it was ok. About 1% fail to fire.

Were you using high velocity mini mags? Should be over 1200 fps...

Remington ThunderBolts Bulk Pack 500rds, American Eagle both work well for my STG (22cal)
