TSE has them for about 150 dollars cheaper. Or you could get the target version for the same price.

I'd like to know what all the differences are before I pay a 150 dollar markup for a GrandPower with STi on the side of it.
Me too, but I predict good things.
I believe one change may be changing the trigger pivot point to the metal insert instead of the plastic frame.
One change I'd like to see (which may already be on the Mk6) is an improved system for retaining the safetys. The ball detents on the K100 are to easy to loose and damned hard to re-install.
One change certain to happen is a metal insert in the frame or another means to satisfy the BATFE with a frame mounted serial number.
I bought mine used for the equivalent of $400. I wouldn't think twice about paying the $550 TSE ask now for the base model.
I suspect the improvements to the GP6 will make me willing to cough up another $150 for a second gun.

For the time being, I doubt there will be many obvious cosmetic differences. However, it has been suggested that some of the internal bits have been reworked with STI's input.....
Freedom Ventures might be able to answer with more details....
I guess my concern is that all the talk of "internal improvements" could be nothing more than marketing-speak used to justify the inflated price. Seeing how both STI and non-STI labeled guns come from the same factory, it's hard to imagine the former being significantly different inside.
No doubt. I had my reservations as in an older thread where Freedom Ventures talked about their upcoming distribution of the STI guns.

As you can see...I too mentioned going the cheaper route of buying from TSE.
As no one has the 'GP6' to compare with the K100/K100 Mk6 plain jane Grand Powers, we are simply speculating.....Until we have a few nice CGNers to do some comparisons, no one will really know.
It could be marketing hype....or it could be like comparing a CZ SP01 and CZ SP01 Shadow. Time will tell(well.....that and if people start disclosing what was actually changed over from the original design).
Most of the changes to the K100 to turn it into the GP6 are not functional improvements. Rather, the changes were made to score points for the ATF evaluation in order to import it into the US. Personally, I would prefer to have the K100 in original form.
