STI perfect 10 or Kimber TLE II in 10mm?

I would like to have one of those in the collection, but they need to many upgrades to make it what I want from stock.

Will still likely get one when the opportunity presents itself though..

^^^^That is was Colt needs to do with the Delta Elite, bring it into the 21st Century with other modern 1911's.

The fit of the slide to the frame of my Kimber Stainless Target 11 is very tight compared to the Delta Elite.

Only thing I need to do to the Kimber to get it to the level of my Delta is to get the front grip checkering done other than that it came out of the box for just over $1200 compared to over $2500 for the Delta.

Both are close in the accuracy department and feed everything I give them from my lightest 10mm loads to my crazy top velocity/pressure loads.

I'm not dissing my Glocks either the G20 is the most reliable 10mm I have ever shot its just a big gun for only 10 rounds whereas I had some failure to feed issues with the G29 in the beginning it now also reliably feeds everything I put thru it.

I am running 24# - 26# recoil springs in the 2 1911's don't remember what I have in the Glocks anymore probably 22#.
