STI Ranger

I believe the Ranger III is a special variant with the Cylinder & Slide S.F.S. modification. Goog for more deets or check the videos section on the Cylinder & Slide site.

Safety doesn't work after hammer back. Would have to push hammer forward to reengage safety. Looks lame to me but I don't/can't pack.

I believe the ranger 3 when the saftey is on the hammer moves to a kind of half cocked position so I does not look like you are carrying a cocked gun. When the saftey is released the hammer goes back to full cocked and you are ready to fire. I don't see any reason for this in Canada as we can't carry.

Could be. I think I might get a jump on the new Standard Single Stack Division. The chatter on GV is it will be 8-rounds for major and 10-minor. I am thinking I might pick up a Trogan or a RangerII in 9mm. Shoot standard with 10 round mags.

It will work for IDPA as well.

Should be fun :)

Sounds like a very interesting division. Would or could put the 9mm minor at an advantage with the two extra rounds.
Cheers.
