So it's no secret that the plastic mainspring housing on the STI Spartan's sticks out a little from the bottom of the frame........But is it the housing or the frame causing this??? I ask this because I plan on replacing the stock plastic one with a steel one and want to know if the new housing will be flush???? Anyone out there with experience with this? One source says the frame is too short and one says the housing is too long

I have an extra Ed Brown one with the chainlink pattern wich lokos ALOT like the STIpling thing STI has going on. Ordered 2 by mistake from Brownells. I havent installed mine yet so I can't tell you if it's a MSH or frame problem.

My S&A magwell its almost exact, you can see some light between the magwell and frame and there is an issue inside the well I haven't decided if it should be filed down or not yet. I am waiting on my new magwell grips.
