STI Spartan V failure to extract

Hello Gents,

I need help :( I have a spartan V in 9mm that is causing me grief atm.
FTE, its leaving the spend shells extracted half way out of the barrel, we did pull the extractor out and left it on the tensioner for a day, still doing the same. Tried to install a caspian 9mm extractor and it doesn't seem to fit. Are STI proprietary?

Then i read something about sti and mec gar mags not compatible. I am using 3 mec gar mags (only ones i have at the moment) but isn't it suppose to be failure to feed or stove piping?

Could be s couple things causing the problem.

Could be timing with the linkage. Are the spent cases rims show any signs of damage?

Could be a weak extractor. Remove the slide and slip a spent case under the extractor. Whenyou let go of the case, does it fall free?
 
Sounds like a linkagee issue, but more likely the tension of the extractor.

Sti should be a series 70, caspian is too IIRC. They should be capatible
 
yes and that what puzzles me sir, Jay of TSE is looking at it. Ill get it tmw and see whats going on. I would really like to have it going for ipsc classic
