STI Tactical 5.0 - full length frame?

Looking at pictures of the STI Tactical 5.0 and I see multiple versions or do I see the 4.0 model when I google the tactical name?

I'm confused on how the pistol is sold from the factory. Full length frame or with a Butler cut?

Check out the STI site (stiguns.com). The Tacticals come in single stack and double stack in 4.25 (model 4.0) and 5 (model 5.0) inch barrels. 3.9 inch models (model 3.0) avail in the US. All full length dust covers.

they made them that way starting around 2005 up until last year i think. The stock ones now are all full frame. Given the degree of customization possible with STI, you could probably have one made like that if you really wanted it. it is just the 4.0 frame though the slide is different. Call the guys at Freedom Ventures. I've wasted at least a couple hours of their time talking about possible STI variations (sorry guys :) before i pulled the trigger on one.
