STI Trojan and .22 kit

I have a newer (small "Trojan" writing on the slide) in .45 and was wondering if anyone has installed and used a .22 upper kit on it. The STI blurb says that the Trojan has a ramped barrel, and most kits state that they won't work with a ramped barrel .
