STI Trojan in .45 - Can you get 10 round mags

Have the itch to change my IDPA gun to a Trojan. Just hate the thought of moving down from my G21 10 round mags to 8 rounders. Can you get 10 rounders for the Trojan? I know the 10 rounders I have for my P345 are not legal for IDPA as they stick out the bottom too far. I would think this would be the case for the Trojan as well?

There are many ten-round options, including Wilson-Rogers, Tripp, and Metalform.

They would extend beyond the bottom of the frame.

CDP limit is 8, but ESP is 10 and doesn't require DA like SSP does. can you run it in ESP then? or does the weight limit kill you?

Well I am an IDPA SO and I still find myself having to look up the rules from time to time. My G21 actually allows me to be in a few different divisions.... SSP, ESP and CDP.

I was excited at the thought of getting a Trojan and didn't even think about the 1911 CDP 8 round rule. Embarrassed to say the least!

^ yeah, i have it, just don't know off-hand what the Trojan weight is and if it's over or under the ESP class 43oz limit (which is where i think you COULD shoot it, as long as the mag doesn't shove it outside the box)
