STI Trojan SS.

I've got a regular blued Trojan. Only issues I have is with reloaded ammo, STIs have a tight chamber. The chamber had to be throated and feed ramp polished and it takes a little bit of fiddling to get the ammo just right. That said.. I love my Trojan and Ive havent had any other issues!

I have two Trojans .45 and 9mm both feed all kinds of ammo reliably - factory and reloads.

By going with stainless steel finish you remove known STI weakness , their bluing which seems to wear quite quick.

Who's got one and what do you think? Any issues that I should be aware of?
Thanks for your input.

I don't think any SS models have been imported yet. As far as I know, the SS model is new for 2008. Freedom Ventures is expecting a shipment soon. Perhaps they'll have some SS models?

Trojan SS were introduced a couple of years ago. We sat on a SS 45 for almost a year before the first one sold. Due to that, we only ordered them in as requested. In the last 6 months, they got popular here (probably due to the dollar) and we've ordered quite a few; even enough to sit on stock again, but apparently, they did not get popular enough world-wide because STI discontinued them (except the ones in the pipeline) to make room in the factory for more popular product a month ago. (see STI's latest Skinnergram on www.stiguns.com)

Anyone who has them on order with us or dealers will get them, and I might have an extra one or two.
