Sticky shotshell 28 gauge Challenger ??

I incorrectly assumed just because 410 Challenger worked just fine in my break action survival gun that surely the 28 gauge game load of Challenger brand would be just fine in my M37 Ithaca.

Boy I was wrong. The fired shotshell refused to budge so I needed a cleaning rod to convince it otherwise.

Anyone else experience the same ??

BTW, Winchester one ounce birdshot was trouble free.
And I think this shell is loaded fairly hot.

Yes. I have a Beretta 686 Onyx Pro Sporting thAt refuses to eject Challenger 28 Ga hulls. It works 100% with AA or Remington's. I reload AA's so it's no longer a problem.

It's about tolerances and chamber finish.
My shooting buddy uses Challenger 28 gauge in a Citori Sporter and a Remington 1100 with perfect satisfaction.

Have used Challenger ammunition in my Ithaca Model 37 28 gauge with no problems.

Challengers work well in all 4 of my 28's

I have a Beretta DT10 ... Challenger 410's with Briley Sidekicks were nothing but ejection problems. AA's worked perfectly ... gave several boxes of Challengers away.

Challengers work great in my Mossberg SA 28g but they stick in my Rem 870 express 28g
