Hello there,

So Im kind of in a sticky situation right now. I play junior hockey and I just bought my first handgun and am waiting to pick it up. Yesterday I had to phone in and change my address to where to where I'm staying and that was done without a problem at all, but today I found out that I am moving houses so I have to change my address again and I'm wondering if the rcmp will think something is wrong and they'll refuse me my gun or something in that nature. Would it just be best for me to cancel the purchase and just buy a .22? Any help with what I should do is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all the replies, I'll phone tomorrow and explain everything and will hopefully be able to pick my gun up if there's no problems with getting a STATT

I think you'll have a potentially harder sell to the home owners you'll be moving in with rather than the RCMP. Think about it. You're a stranger coming into someone's home and you're bringing firearms with you? You'll be lucky to get permission from the "Hockey Mom" of the house.

Luckily for me the people I'm moving in with are gun owners, they actually helped me learn a few things before I challenged my pal and rpal test so they don't mind.
