I just picked up a savage bmag in 17 wsm syn stock the other day. I decided to go with the plastic instead of laminate just because of weight differance due to inflammation and pain problems I have with my hands. So far I am satisfied with accuracy of this rifle. It will shoot about 1" 3 shot groups at 100 yds as long as I keep my front bag back around the magazine but if I put bag up around the sling stud the pressure flexs the forend and groups open up some. I think that if for end was a little more rigid it could do better. I have used rockite in a savage axis which really stiffened it up and improved accuracy but added more weight than I would like. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make the for end a little more rigid without adding alot of weight.
