If I didn't just purchase a 7x57 and a 308 I'd be all over this 270.....I know it's a love it or hate it cartridge, but realistically it's bordering on magnum performance, recoil is mild/manageable, and you can use it for anything we have in Canada.

Well I ordered one of the 308 Benelli R1's for $999, it shipped same day. Pretty painless...
If something is out of stock it's out of stock, not much anybody can do about that.

However totally agree. Seen it used up here for everything from gophers to grizzlies....many times. Well, never actually used it myself on gophers, but pretty sure it would work.

Good rifle and a good price. Cartridge is sweet too. If I didn't have two synthetic stock rifles ID buy one. Still hunting for a weatherby deluxe in 30-06 or sporter in 308/30-06. To add a bit more class in the safe

I got the benelli yesterday, goddamn finely made firearm. Came with the iron sights on it too which I didn't expect... Very nice feel to it, trigger is great, bunch of shims for comb angle, way overbuilt for a hunting rifle like this, even the mags are heavy duty ....and best part, ####ing EASY to strip right down to clean.
